Pancake Breakfest new children's museum

Pictures taken 1 April 2009

This is a neat little chalk drawing of a pancake breakfest. It was on the giant chalk wall at the new children's museum. There are two very good pancake restaurants within a couple of blocks of the museum. I imagine starting a day with a pancake breakfast and following it with a day at the children's museum would be an ideal day for a child. Here is the information for the restaurants:

Flowers at the Children's Museum

Pictures taken 14 March 2008

I saw these two chalk drawings at the new children's museum. I like the tulip. One time I went into the back yard and picked all the tulips for my mother. I think of her whenever I see tulips. I really like the bigger flower. It uses the light as the center of one of flowers. I guess I should have taken a night picture but I didn't think of it. I really enjoy the chalk drawings. I don't know if these were done by children or adults. But the seem very well done.

A plus 7 equals Heart

Pictures Taken 16 January 2009
These examples of chalk art where found in Children's Park in downtown San Diego. Despite the name of the park and the fact that it is right across the park from the New Children's Museum, the park is mainly populated by the homeless and therefore the chalk art is probably but not certainly the work of an adult homless person. The two drawings were close together, but I was using my phone camera and couldn't ge them in the same frame. The top part seems to read A + 7 = heart. I don't know what this means. If anyone else does please leave a comment.
